Mindfulness is a state of awareness that accepts the present moment, no matter what it is. You will practice being in a state where you are not thinking, reflecting, judging or deciding but are simply experiencing.
Discover the Power of the Present Moment uses nature and the environment around you to help you unlock hidden answers to some of the questions that you might have, giving you the inspiration to try something new. In our time together you will:
- Practice direct observation, focusing your mind on being in the present moment
- Seek insight from your surroundings
- Spend time with other people sharing your observations and insights
How often do you give yourself permission to focus on the present moment rather dwelling on the past or worrying about the future? When do you give yourself the time to think about where you are today and where you want to be? What about the challenges that you face every day; how often do you give yourself the luxury of really thinking them through?
This session is ideal for anyone who wishes to take time away from their busy schedule to be in nature and open their mind to new possibilities and different ways of thinking.
We will start by meeting up at ZWCoworking, using it as a base from which to roam around the park and surrounding area. We will finish off back at ZWCoworking where refreshments will be provided. Because we will be spending most of our time outside make sure to wear weather appropriate clothes.
